Parties at Spinners are booked by choosing a party room and a guest count package.

🏠 Party Room Options

  • Party Room A (Large Room)
    $150 room fee · 2.5 hours private use

    This is where the party actually feels like a party.

    Most groups over 10 guests choose Room A because it gives you space to spread out, settle in, and enjoy the day together, not just pass through.

    Why people choose Room A:

Your guests aren’t just in the room, they’re in the arcade all day. The room is where you gather, eat, and reset between games.

  • Party Room B (small room):
    $100 room fee · 2.5 hours private use

    A simpler, more contained option for smaller groups.

    Best for quick celebrations where most guests are playing more than gathering.

    Choose Room B if:

    • You’re keeping it under 10 people

    • Most guests are drop-off

    • You don’t need space for food + gift setup

    • You want a more contained, low-key setup

How does guest pricing work?

$20 per person · Unlimited play all day

Your guests can stay and play from open to close, even after your party room time ends.

Guest pricing is based on your total number of guests attending the party and includes unlimited, all-day arcade play on the day of your event. You’ll select your guest count along with your party room when booking.

  • 50-60 guests: Inquire for pricing

❓ Who Counts as a Guest? ⚠️ Important

A party guest is anyone who stays during the party, plays games, and participates in the event, including:

• Children
• Parents
• Guardians
• Siblings
• Friends or family members attending the party

Babies age three and under or ADA companions do not count toward the guest total.

For children’s birthday parties, parents often stay to supervise their children. If parents or guardians remain during the party, they are considered part of the guest count. Adults who remain but do not play games will be asked to pay a $5 Chaperone Charge to support our nonprofit arcade.

Parents may drop off and pick up children at no charge, with a 15-minute grace period for drop-offs.

If a parent stays beyond a quick drop-off or decides to play arcade games, they will be counted as part of the guest total and charged accordingly.

❓ What if I have more guests than I paid for? ⚠️ Important

If additional guests arrive beyond the number selected during booking, they can be added up to the maximum room capacity.

Additional guests are $20 per person.

You may choose one of two options:

Host Pays:
Additional guests are added to the host’s party tab and settled at the end of the event.

Guests Pay Individually:
Extra guests may pay their own admission at the front desk.

Just let our staff know which option you prefer, and we’ll be happy to take care of the rest. However, booking hosts are responsible for sharing Spinners policies with their guests.

❓ How long can guests stay?

Party guests receive unlimited arcade play for the entire day of the event, from open to close.

The party room itself must be vacated at the end of your 2.5-hour reservation, as it may be needed for another group.

❓ How early can we arrive to set up?

Because we host multiple parties each day, the party room may be in use or being cleaned before your reservation.

When possible, we allow up to 15 minutes early access for decorating, but this cannot always be guaranteed.

❓ Do you require payment upfront? What about cancellations or refunds?

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Please provide 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel.

Rescheduling

We’re happy to move your party to a new date at no additional cost with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel entirely, a refund will be issued in the form of a Spinners gift card for the full amount.

Reservations that are made within 48 hours of the event time are non-refundable, and cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event are also non-refundable.

❓ Can we decorate?

You're welcome to decorate your party room to your style!

Please avoid attaching decorations with tacks, nails, or anything that could damage the walls.

🚫 No confetti or glitter

Please remove all decorations at the end of your reservation.

❓ Can we bring our own food?

Outside food is welcome, and food delivery is common for parties.

Each room includes a sink for dumping drinks and washing hands

All food and drinks must remain inside the party room and off arcade games.

❓ Can we bring our own alcohol?

Outside alcohol is not permitted at Spinners Pinball Arcade, including unopened bottles brought as gifts.

Adult beverages will be available for purchase at our front counter, and tabs may be opened for your group.

For the safety of our guests and in compliance with licensing requirements, guests may not bring, consume, or distribute outside alcohol anywhere on the premises.

Any outside alcohol may be confiscated and guests violating this policy will be asked to leave the premises and may result in the early termination of the event.

❓ Is there food nearby?

Spinners Pinball Arcade is located in District 40 in Frederick, Maryland, with several restaurants nearby, as well as many other options along West Patrick Street.

Guests are welcome to walk to nearby restaurants, drive to go pick up food, or order food delivery directly to the arcade.

Our staff is happy to recommend local options.

What a Spinners Party Looks Like

Not sure how the party will flow? Here’s an example of how many families structure their celebration during their 2.5-hour party room reservation. Your group is welcome to organize the time however you'd like, but this example can help you plan your celebration.

⏱ 0:00 — Guests Arrive

Guests check in at the front desk using your party’s reservation (name and time) and receive unlimited arcade access for the entire day.

Your private party room will be available for gathering, storing food, and getting settled.

🎮 0:15–1:15 — Arcade Play Time

Most groups spend the first hour letting guests explore the arcade.

With as many game options as Spinners has, this is when the excitement really starts. Guests can play freely while the host finishes setting up food or decorations in the party room.

🍕 1:15–1:45 — Food Time

When everyone is ready, gather guests in the party room for pizza, snacks, or other food you've brought or had delivered.

This is a great time for guests to relax, connect, hydrate, and recharge before heading back to the games.

🎂 1:45–2:00 — Cake & Singing

Many hosts choose this moment for cake, cupcakes, or dessert.

It’s also a great opportunity for photos and celebrating the guest of honor. We’d love to share you on our socials!

🎁 2:00–2:20 — Gifts

Some families choose to open gifts during the party, while others prefer to save them for later at home.

If you plan to open gifts, this is a good window before the room reservation ends.

🎮 2:20–2:30 — Last Call in the Party Room

Use the final few minutes to gather belongings, pack up decorations, and prepare to exit the party room.

Our staff will help make sure everything runs smoothly.

🕹 After 2:30 — More Arcade Play!

While the party room reservation ends after 2.5 hours, your guests can keep playing arcade games for the rest of the day.

Many parties continue playing together in the arcade after the room time ends.
